100 yrs certainly deserves a special cake and that is exactly what I tried to achieve when I made this cake for the RBL Veterans Hub. I used the go to Mary Berry Vanilla traybake recipe, glazed the top of the cake with raspberry conserve and then covered it with a sheet of rolled fondant icing. I edged the cake with buttercream swirls and coloured chocoballs, decorating the top with sugarpaste decorations. A fitting tribute to their 100 yrs.
