18th birthday cupcakes - 17th January 2026

First order for 2026, 42 vanilla cupcakes, pink and silver colour theme for an 18th birthday party. I used the Jane's Patisserie recipe for the cupcakes and buttercream and I added a raspberry conserve centre to the cupcakes. I made 32 sugar paste toppers combining Happy Birthday, cupcakes, birthday cakes and flowers with white, and various shades of pink. I used silver glitter dust to paint the text and add highlights. The cakes were presented in pink, striped and floral tulip cases.

I decorated a further 10 cupcakes with a white and pink buttercream swirl, I then added a sparkly silver 18 to the top of the swirl and candy melt hearts and mini chocolate bars, sugar paste initials, bows, lips and roses which I spritzed with silver glitter dust. The cakes were presented in rose pink cupcake wraps.

Very happy with the finished result and so was my customer.
