Another Simnel Loaf cake just in time for Easter - 2nd April

So I decided to make another Simnel Loaf cake today for Easter tea. I used the Woman's Weekly recipe as I was really pleased with the result when I used it before. Once baked and cooled and after covering the top with a layer marzipan I decorated the loaf with some mini Easter sugar paste decorations and painted Happy Easter onto the Loaf using a LissieLou stamp. I also used a FMM grass embosser which I painted with a metallic green edible ink pen to give some definition. Finally I added a spritz of gold dust. Beautiful.
