Birthday cupcakes for a milestone100th birthday, Saturday 27th July

I had an order to make some birthday cupcakes for a milestone 100th birthday. I made a selection of toppers using pastel coloured sugar paste, stamps, embossers, moulds and cutters. I painted moulded tea cups, biscuits, cupcakes and sponge cake slices with edible lustre dust. I also made moulded roses and leaves. I made a batch of vanilla cupcakes, which were filled with strawberry jam, piped with vanilla buttercream which I had coloured pink and white and then finally I added the sugar paste toppers and gave them a spritz of gold. Really pleased with the finished result and so was the customer when she picked them up this morning.
