Children's Charity Funday cupcakes - Saturday 3rd August

Alligator Pear a local gift shop / emporium have arranged a charity fundraising event today to raise funds for a local young boy, Ellis, who needs to travel to the USA for life saving cancer treatment, I donated 2 dozen cupcakes to the fundraiser which I decorated with a mix of Thomas the Tank Engine, Dinosaurs and Super Hero themes. I used the standard vanilla cupcake batter, filled the baked cakes with strawberry jam added a swirl of vanilla buttercream and a colourful sugar paste topper and sprinkles. The cakes looked great and the fundraiser was a great success so well done to all involved.
