Coffee and walnut sponge cake, just because it's the weekend! Saturday 20th July

I felt like doing a bit of baking today and decided to make a coffee and walnut sponge cake as a treat for the weekend. I used a Delia Smith recipe for the sponge which contained chopped walnuts. I made a coffee buttercream for the filling and topping using some powdered Americano coffee powder. Finished the cake with half walnuts. Absolutely delicious.
