Easter Bunny chocolate sponge cake for Surrey Police - Monday 14 April

I used 2 chocolate sponge cakes (the cakes were made using a 4 egg sponge cake recipe and cocoa and melted chocolate to give a rich flavour) and followed a video on the Cakecraft world Facebook site which showed how to carve bunny ears from a sponge. I placed the cakes onto a rectangular board and piped swirls using chocolate buttercream and vanilla buttercream which I coloured yellow, peach, mint green and lilac. I finished the cake with a Happy Easter sugarpaste plaque, Cadbury mini eggs and some Easter party sprinkles, finally I added a spritz of gold dust. Really happy with the finished result.
