Father's Day cupcakes for The Coffee House, Tadworth, Thursday 13th June

An important day on the calendar to celebrate all of those lovely Dad's who do so much for the family, to acknowledge that I made chocolate fudge and vanilla cupcakes decorated with bright sugarpaste toppers for The Coffee House in Tadworth. I filled the chocolate fudge cupcakes with chocolate spread, covered with chocolate buttercream and topped half with a set of sugarpaste toppers, the remainder I decorated with buttercream swirls (chocolate, blue and cream colours), mini chocolate bars, chocolate stars and huge chocoballs. The vanilla cupcakes were filled with raspberry jam, topped with vanilla buttercream and finished with more brightly decorated sugarpaste toppers.

With some remaining chocolate fudge batter I made a small chocolate loaf cake which I decorated with coloured buttercream swirls, sugarpaste roses and chocolate decorations.
