Giant Christmas cookie to gift to friends, Tuesday 24th December

We are going to visit friends for a cuppa this afternoon so I have made them a giant choc-chip Christmas cookie. This is the usual Jane's Patisserie cookie recipe with some Christmas spices added too. I decorated the top of the cookie, which is 8 inches in diameter, with vanilla buttercream coloured green and some home made decorations along with sprinkles. I was really happy with the way this recipe turned out and will be using it again as it can be adapted for Birthdays.
