Joining the Army - Friday 28th February

I've been asked to make a vanilla traybake cake and vanilla cupcakes with an army theme - the son of friends is about to join up and the cakes will be part of his going away party. I've used the basic vanilla traybake cake recipe by Mary Berry and my go to vanilla cupcake recipe as the base. I bought a sheet of camouflage printed icing to top the traybake and added some personalised decorations that I had made. I bought some edible wafer paper cupcake toppers and used those to decorate the cupcakes along with my handmade decorations. Really pleased with the finished result.
