Mother's Day cupcakes for The Coffee House, Tadworth - Friday 8th March 2024

Another important event to be celebrated with cupcakes for The Coffee House - I made a batch of vanilla cupcakes filled with raspberry conserve, topped with vanilla buttercream which I coloured rose, lavender and white finished with Mother's day themed sugarpaste toppers which had been decorated with embossers from Lissie Lou and also moulds from Katy Sue. Really pleased with these rose themed decorations which were displayed in pink floral tulip cases. I them made a further batch of White chocolate chip cupcakes - a new recipe that I tried from Jane's patisserie. I filled the cupcakes with a passionfruit curd and topped with buttercream flavoured with more of the passionfruit curd and coloured peach. I decorated this batch of cakes with more Lissie Lou embossers, again really pleased with the finish on these.
