Easter Traybake cake for RBL Veterans Hub - Wednesday 27th March

I baked a chocolate sponge traybake cake using a Mary Berry recipe, once cooled I spread a layer of chocolate buttercream on the top and portioned the cake into 24 pieces. I then piped a star of cream cheese flavoured buttercream into the centre of each portion and decorated the cake with Easter themed sugar paste decorations, mini chocolate eggs, fluffy chicks and green sugar crystals. The cake looked great and tasted pretty good too.
