Model railway exhibition fundraiser, Saturday 1st June

We held a fundraiser at the local Church, St Peter's Woodmansterne, at the weekend. We filled the Church Hall with model trains and enthusiasts and set up a small cafe area too. I made train themed sugar cookies, 'Thomas' cupcakes and a train inspired chocolate cake. I had a great deal of fun making all of the decorations. A team of about a dozen manned the cafe throughout the day and many more had contributed to the huge variety of cakes that were on sale. A fantastic effort!
