Special cake for BVIB (Banstead Village in Bloom) Volunteer Award - Friday 11th October

I volunteer now and then with a local community gardening group, this morning we were presented with a volunteer award for our work in the Community and of course I just had to make a cake. I used a GF recipe for a vanilla traybake. I topped the cake with jam and a thin layer of buttercream, which I then covered with a sheet of fondant icing and a printed icing sheet, buttercream rosettes, coloured choco balls and sugarpaste decorations. The cake tasted delicious and was enjoyed by all. The cake cut into 24 decent portions.
