Valentine cupcakes - Just beautiful - Monday 12th February 2024

A selection of Valentine cupcakes are my first themed bake for The Coffee House in 2024. I made a selection of love/cupid/heart cupcake toppers using Katy Sue and Karen Davies moulds along with a LOVE LissieLou embosser. I used pink and red sugarpaste painted with gold and red dust to bring the moulds to life. I also made some chocolate geo hearts using white chocolate which I coloured pink and red. Once the chocolate had set I drizzled the hearts with dark chocolate and sprinkled them with Pretty in Pink Sprinkletti. Underneath all of this gorgeousness was either a chocolate fudge sponge, filled with raspberry conserve and topped with raspberry buttercream or a red velvet sponge filled and topped with cream cheese flavoured buttercream. I am really happy with the finished results and I hope that the customers at The Coffee House will love them too.
